It’s your career and we encourage you to take ownership of it. To guide you, we have a framework called ‘Achieving My Potential’ (AMP). AMP is made up of four key elements: core competencies, technical competencies, values and attitude. Our range of learning and development options empower you to learn in the way that suits you best and helps you prepare for future roles. You’ll have our constant support along the way.

A learning culture

Whatever your role, we’ll make sure your skills stay up to date with regular training, but you’ll also have access to our learning portal – a one-stop shop for courses, resources, guidance and support. The portal gives you easy access to a range of learning materials including face-to-face courses, articles, webinars, and the ability to set up and contribute to learning groups. In 2019, more than 45,480 training courses were completed on our e-learning system, and in 2020 100% of our training courses were delivered virtually.


We welcome part-qualified professionals who would like to continue their studies with us. Our support includes time off for college and study leave, and funding for fees relating to study. As well as building your technical skills, we’ll help you develop personally and professionally.

Once you’re qualified, you’ll be ready to take on more responsibility or people or projects. You might look to broaden your expertise by taking an international secondment with one of the other firms in our network, or working in a business area outside your specialism.


Our suite of management learning will support you in each new role and set of responsibilities, whether it’s working with a wider portfolio of clients and sectors or taking charge of the development and coaching of others. We’ll help you forge a path that makes the most of your unique abilities and skills.

Whether you’re just starting out or well on the way to achieving your goals, you’ll receive an annual review, a twice-yearly performance review, and individual feedback on all major projects.
